Roundtable: Embracing Our Neurodivergent Strengths & Vulnerabilities

Join us to explore what it means to fully embrace our strengths and vulnerabilities as neurodivergent business leaders.

As neurodivergent people, we’re used to being told that we’re too much, too intense, too loud, every "too" under the sun. As a result, many of us try to make ourselves smaller, diminishing our light and hiding our incredible strengths.

Despite the trauma from a one-size-fits-all education system and the many challenges we’ve faced in workplaces, many of us have come to self-employment because we know that we have SO more to give – we just need the right environment and people around us that allow us to embrace our strengths AND our vulnerabilities

As neurodivergent business leaders, embracing our whole selves is vital for our well-being. When we suppress parts of who we are to fit in, we suppress everything that makes us unique and brilliant too!

When we accept ourselves for exactly who we are, we allow ourselves to heal, process our emotions and find a sense of inner peace – and we find out where our biggest strengths lie.

But the question is, how do we even START to do that when we’re so used to having our shortcomings pointed out to us?

Joyfully Different Co-Founder Mark Blake is joined by James Cleves, Founder of Clever VA, to explore what it means to fully embrace our strengths and vulnerabilities as neurodivergent business leaders.

Mark and James will share their own experiences and insights to support us all in our exploration and discussion of:

  • How do we acknowledge and embrace our vulnerabilities in a psychologically safe way?
  • How do we identify our strengths and weaknesses in business, and how do we use that knowledge to make positive changes for ourselves?
  • What impact do you think there would be on the business world if all neurodivergent people were able to fully embrace who they are, drop the mask and be allowed to channel all our energy into our strengths?
